EDWARD SMART
I trained in forensic photography after leaving school, and photography is still a big part of my life.

After graduating in design from Glasgow College of Printing in 1989, I bought my first mac and went to work for the scottish arts magazine Variant. Then, via a surprisingly instructive period working in the rather prosaic in-house design department at Motherwell District Council, I ended up in Edinburgh at The Lambert Agency. The scope, attitude and ambition of the projects I worked on whilst there, still informs my approach.

The clients I've worked with, both within agencies and as a freelancer, have run the full gamut from startup to international corporation. I've also been fortunate to have worked with many talented people, from food stylists and writers to artists and photographers.
