ED SMART // FREELANCE GRAPHIC DESIGNER PHOTOGRAPHER + WRITER
Trained in forensic photography, I changed to graphic design in 1989, graduating from Glasgow College of Printing. I've been fortunate to have worked with many highly talented people in edinburgh and glasgow over the last 20 years, from food stylists to writers to artists and musicians.
My work includes print and online design for utilities, startups, manufacturers and corporates. As part of bigger client briefs, I also have video storyboarding, radio scripting and copywriting skills.
Clients have included HP, Motorola, NEC, Scotrail, Scottish Enterprise, S & N Breweries, Scottish Power and many arts organisations.
Recently I've been working with a UK/Dubai-based interior design client on print projects. This work, shown in my recent section, was done at bigRED in Glasgow.
I approach every client as a fresh opportunity to make something wonderful, inspirational and productive for them.
